Still Trying

Jim has not caught a walleye yet. The one he's holding is the one the neighbor guy caught. We've been going to the river almost everyday to try and catch more walleye -- no luck for us-- but a least the neighbors we've been fishing with have each caught one.
Our friends left camp but before they did they parked next to us to hook up their car behind their 5th wheel -- triple towing like us. We both have the same truck so I had to get a picture of them side by side. Our rig is on the left.
It's actually rained here a couple of times now -- the first real rain since we came in mid-October. Flowers and flowering trees are starting to bloom. Its starting to "green up" around here.

... I'm still reading! : )

Glad to read of your lucky one walleye ... and I am still cheering for Jim to catch ONE before it's time to head North in your triple-tow rig and all your gear!

We are looking at 60+ degrees here today so we are all excited to get out of the ANW basement today ... This is following a sub-zero blizzard last week. I happened to be in Duluth and Ely for my dad's total knee surgery and recovery ... so it was extra fun from Northern MN! Yesterday was also a lovely day in this area ... it was SO nice to ride through Mpls and St. Paul and see the open waters of the rivers sparkling in the sunshine! We even rode with the windows down ... and of course saw some folks out and about with their motorcycles and convertibles with the tops down ... : )

Good Luck fishing ... "here fishy fishy fishy" ... special invite to the WALLEYES!
